Howdy adventurer - a big thank you for buying direct from the author. I hope it gives you the warm fuzzies in your belly.

Here's some answers to burning questions people ask.

WHEN WILL MY PAPERBACK ARRIVE?

Everything is printed to order, so when you hit that big ole 'buy' button, the book(s) get run off the press at an independent printers in the UK.

All books take 3 days to print + shipping time to get to you.

UK orders will be with you in 4 to 6 working days.

Overseas orders will be with you in 10 to 15 working days.

I know that's longer than the mega book stores out there, so I really appreciate you being willing to hang tight, and for supporting the Indie vibes.

EEEK. MY PAPERBACK BOOK HASN'T SHOWED UP

It hasn't happened yet, but if your book hasn't showed up according to the times given above, I'm super sorry about that. Drop an email to hello@annamcnuff.com and we'll don our detective hats and investigate what the Dickens is going with your order.

IT'S CHEAPER AND FASTER TO BUY ON BIG BOOK STORES. WHY SHOULD I BUY DIRECT FROM THE MCSHOP?

This is a goooood question. We're all busy and we want our things to arrive, nowsville.

The books sold on my store are a better quality and include things like cut scenes, or extras which aren't available anywhere else. So you're getting a different product from the mass market.

And, your purchase goes a long way towards supporting a creative indie author, like me... who's doing her best to raise a family and keep the wheels of wordy-wonder in motion as I go. See the question below.

HOW DOES IT HELP OUT INDEPENDENT AUTHORS WHEN I BUY DIRECT?

If you buy one of my books from another store I only get a teeeny slither of the RRP price (10% for paperback books), and your money won't reach me for 30 - 60 days.

If you choose to buy direct, then I get to keep most of the profits (after print costs) and the money is in my bank account in a matter of hours. MAGIC.

Basically, you're making sure that your money goes to the creator of the work and not the big corporate middle-(wo)man.

As an added bonus, I will consider you a VERY GOOD EGG for the rest of your life.

I BOUGHT AN eBOOK - HOW DO I GET IT?

eBooks are delivered by the gang at Book Funnel. It means you can download and read them on any device you fancy.

Once you've bought an eBook you'll automatically get an email from help@bookfunnel.com with a link to download the ebook.

If the email hasn’t arrived in 10 minutes after you've checked out, take a look for the email in your Spam folder.

You can also find your ebooks in your BookFunnel library at https://My.BookFunnel.com.

Log into BookFunnel with the email you used to purchase/download your books and they'll be there, ready and waiting for you.

If you need help with getting the ebook to your device, just email: help@bookfunnel.com.

I BOUGHT AN AUDIOBOOK - HOW DO I GET IT?

Audiobooks (narrated be meee) are delivered by the gang at Book Funnel. It means you can download and listen to them on any device you fancy.

Once you've bought an audiobook you'll automatically get an email from help@bookfunnel.com with a link to download the book.

If the email hasn’t arrived in 10 minutes after you've checked out, take a look for the email in your Spam folder.

You can also find your audiobooks in your BookFunnel library at https://My.BookFunnel.com.

Log into BookFunnel with the email you used to purchase/download your books and they'll be there, ready and waiting for you.
